Why is an approved email domain required?

Explains the need for approved email domains when using SSO or copy share links

Copy share links and SSO links allow a user sign up for the platform and be automatically assigned to an organization. Because this provides direct access, organizations need a way to control who can use those links.

To help keep access secure, organizations are required to define at least one allowed email domain. A user can only use the share link if their email address matches one of the organization’s approved domains.

For example, if an organization allows the domain @characterstrong.com, only users with an email address ending in @characterstrong.com can use that share link successfully.

This helps ensure that share links are only used by approved users and prevents unauthorized access.
